About The Hunt Genealogy
This web page is my attempt to keep our family information up-dated. I hope that those who are invited will help. Only you can enter correct and up-dated family information. I have completed the typing in of what old information I had from the first edition of our genealogy book. What I will attempt to do now is get more photos in and source info for all the vital records. It's a long and tedeous job. Bill Hunt is going to try and help put in more photos that were in the original book. If all of you would put in up-to-date photos of yourself and children, we would really have a great history of our family.
Tribalpages is advertising a CD that will contain ALL of the information on our web-page. I personally would wait until we get a bit more info added. We only have the basic info there now. It will be worth the $25 price later. There is also a lot of family info that needs to be up-dated by members. Please help. I will try and add more allied families if I can. (eye sight is going.) Any Hunt males out there willing to take a DNA test? This DNA tests are very important. I'm still trying to find someone in England that we're related to.

P.S.
Alot of time has gone by since I started this web site. Now I am fighting cancer since Feb 2012. Lynne Hildreth wrote me an e-mail that she has issued the last two scholarships, dividing what was left in the account and then closed out the account. If you wish to memorialize someone from now on, you'll have to find another way. I'll always remember you all and the get together in summer.

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
